Satsuma Market – Event Recap from the TGY Handmade Team

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, one of the most vibrant summer events took place in Harpenden: the Satsuma Market, and the TGY Handmade team was there, full of energy, with our products on display and curious to see how the local crowd would respond.

The atmosphere at the market was fantastic: friendly people, buzzing stalls, and a wide variety of creations. The space was filled with smiles and great conversations throughout the day. Many visitors stopped by our stand and gave us amazing feedback about our collection. From small decorative pieces to practical yet special items, everyone seemed to find something that resonated with them.

There was also strong interest in the techniques we use. It was great to see that people weren’t just there to shop, but genuinely curious to learn, ask questions, and appreciate the work that goes into each piece. That kind of engagement always reminds us why we love doing what we do.

What made the event truly special was that it wasn’t just about selling – it was about connecting, sharing ideas, and being inspired. We had the opportunity to meet other makers, discover new perspectives, and bring home a wealth of new ideas.
